In 1984, Peter Kopsaftis founded our Private Investment Firm. With the capital contribution of three minority partners, and his own majority capital investment, The Firm targeted Real Estate Investments and Developments.
For over 3 decades, under Peter's guidance, the Firm has been able to achieve exceptional results from its participation in both traditional and non-traditional Investment Ventures.
In 2010, Paaris Kopsaftis, son of Mr. Kopsaftis was approved by the Board under the succession plan as the future Steward of the Firm. As a young professional, Paaris had quickly established himself in the Investment, Development, Financing Banking sectors.
Between 2010 and 2017, Paaris confidentially served under Peter Kopsaftis as Chief Investment Officer of the Firm.
By the end 2017, Mr. Paaris Kopsaftis had transformed the Firm. His Corporate Rebranding Plan was a fundamental shift the Firm’s 30-year investment philosophy and required the Board to approve a drastic request.
Under the Stewardship of Paaris as Principal & Chief Investment Officer, the Board approved the sale of certain real estate assets providing an influx of capital. In addition, capital tagged for real estate investments was reallocated for Venture Investments. This allowed for the formation of the Firms own Venture Fund.
The Firm officially rebranded to its current name in 2017. With the Firm launching its first online web presence, and social-media platforms, 2020 has brought the culmination of our Rebranding Plan.

Blackwater Assets represents the Firms departure from the real estate centric investment model it operated under prior to 2010.
Since the implementation of the Blackwater Assets investment strategy began in 2010, real estate represents 60% of our investments with 40% in the Venture Capital.
Blackwater Assets is excited to utilize its new online platforms as a way of identifying, exploring and being presented with new Venture Possibilities.
The Executive Leadership and Board of Directors of Blackwater Assets is also committed to use the Firms new platforms to raise awareness for the nonprofit organizations that we provide financial support to and are truly dear to us.
